ONE YEAR OF THE BLOG!

WE DID IT.

It has been one incredible year of our blog. We of course wanted to thank you ALL sooooo much for being here, sharing your stories, and letting us be a part of your journey. We have received endless messages of stories and feedback that has helped us to make this what you all need and want.

We wanted to make a short and sweet post detailing what we have learned along the way, in hopes we can help new and old followers.

Chels - Wow, I'm not sure where to even begin! When my mom was sick, Jill and I always talked about creating a space to help others.. so this has allowed me to have a safe space to share my grief, thoughts, laughs, and the memory of my mom. I never imagined this community of friends, family and even strangers (now friends!) would help me to navigate the first year without my mom in the way it has by sending so much love and support when sharing my struggles in real time. I can not thank you enough for helping me survive some truly unbearable days. It is heartbreaking to hear so many stories of grief, it is a terrible club to be a part of.. but sadly we will all be part of it one day, in some way.. so cheers to being in it together when that time comes.

I've learned of great books, podcasts, and resources for grief throughout this blog. I've learned tips and tricks for all things parenting and surviving 2 under 2.. so thank you all for that!

Jill - I can't even believe how fast this year has gone! It has been SO eye opening, humbling, and amazing to share stories with you all. It is even more eye opening, humbling, and amazing to hear YOUR stories and experiences you have had. The one piece of information I have really taken away from starting the blog is everyone is fighting a battle, we just don't know everyone's battles, so we need to be kind, supportive, helpful, aware of body language, and aware of noise or lack there of. I know my Dad is so proud of me and Chelsea for starting this platform and using our trauma to help others in ways we needed.

We want to continue helping and healing, so as always.. let us know what you want to hear and see!
